Legend tells of an old mansion hiding a fabulous treasure. When the young treasure seekers arrive, the ghost of Captain Echo appears to help them—but he isn't much of a talker. Using a tambourine, the ghost player creates sounds that give the other players clues about which illustrated location they should choose.

Every round gives players a chance to take on a different role, either becoming Captain Echo and communicating through sounds or working together as treasure seekers. Because everyone is on the same team, players share the excitement of solving the mystery rather than competing against one another.
