Cold Covenant (Hardback)

Enter the unsettling darkness of the 41st Millennium with Cold Covenant, a Warhammer 40,000 novel by acclaimed author Peter Fehervari. This atmospheric Astra Militarum story follows the 27th Halgarth Brine Dogs, an exhausted regiment whose next deployment pushes several soldiers toward a desperate decision.

After enduring months on Oblazt, a remote and frozen world ruled by a corrupt aristocracy, the Brine Dogs are finally due for reassignment. Their morale is already dangerously low, and few of the soldiers are eager to continue fighting. When they discover that their next destination is a death world, three veterans and an enigmatic Enginseer decide to take matters into their own hands and desert.

Their decision sets off a chain of events far beyond what they could have anticipated. Beneath Oblazt's frozen surface lurks a primal darkness seemingly drawn to sin, while the consequences of the regiment's choices refuse to remain buried. What begins as an act of desperation becomes a terrifying struggle against forces that ordinary soldiers were never prepared to face.

Written by Peter Fehervari, Cold Covenant offers a darker and more psychologically focused look at the Astra Militarum. Rather than following legendary heroes, the story explores ordinary Imperial soldiers pushed beyond their limits, making difficult choices in a universe where survival often comes at an unbearable cost. Fans of the Dark Coil, Astra Militarum fiction, and atmospheric Warhammer 40,000 stories will find plenty to enjoy.
