Painting Tips (Using Citadel Paints)

Pestigors are an excellent opportunity to experiment with diseased flesh, fur textures, and corroded equipment using Citadel paints:

• Flesh: Basecoat with Bugman’s Glow or Rakarth Flesh, shade with Athonian Camoshade, then highlight with Cadian Fleshtone or Pallid Wych Flesh for a sickly look.
• Fur: Use Dryad Bark or Rhinox Hide, wash with Agrax Earthshade, and drybrush with Gorthor Brown or Karak Stone to bring out texture.
• Weapons & Metal: Start with Leadbelcher, shade heavily with Agrax Earthshade, then stipple Typhus Corrosion and lightly drybrush Ryza Rust.
• Horns & Hooves: Basecoat Zandri Dust, shade with Seraphim Sepia, and highlight with Ushabti Bone.
• Rot Effects: Add Nurgle’s Rot technical paint to wounds, mouths, or weapon edges for a freshly infected finish.
