| This keepsake Collector's Edition tin contains four all-time favorite card games: Mille Bornes, Pit, Waterworks and Canasta Caliente. Canasta Caliente: 2-6 players. Includes a deck of 112 cards. Canasta is a popular South American card game. Your goal is to score 5,000 by you and your partner laying down sets of cards and adding them up. A canasta of 7 or more cards of the same type is required before you can go out. Use Wild cards to help you make sets or freeze the pile. Claiming the prize pile any time you have the opportunity may help your score dramatically. Plus the Stop, Bonus and Caliente Cards add to the fun, strategy and variation to the game.
Waterworks: 2-5 players. Includes a deck of 110 cards and 10 wrench tokens. Be the first player to complete your own leak-free pipeline from your valve card to your spout card. Ruin your opponent's plans by placing leaky pipes on top of their good pipes. Use leak-free copper pipes as much as you can, and repair quickly. This fast paced card game is lots of fun.
Pit: 3-8 players. Includes a deck of 74 cards of 8 commodities: cocoa, platinum, gold, cattle, oil, rice, silver, and gas; and one slammer board. Shout your deal and trade your cards to corner the market. Beware of the Bear and take chances with the Bull. Be the first to get all the cards of one commodity, slap the corner board and you'll win the hand. Score 500 points to win. This is a loud and fast paced game for those who like to feel like an exchange trader in the pits.
Mille Bornes: 2, 3, 4 or 6 players. Includes a deck of 112 cards. The first player to lay down 1,000 miles wins the race. It won't be easy though. Avoid accidents, red lights and speed limits. You may run out of gas or get a flat tire. Repair quickly and keep your opponents at bay by throwing them hazards. Safety cards will make you invulnerable to hazards, but will you use them right away or wait for your opponent the throw you the hazard it counterstrikes for the big points? You may have the opportunity to end the race fast but then again, if you believe you can still win you might get extra points for driving safely and/or delaying the game. Shut out an opponent for a slam-dunk extra 500 points! 5,000 points wins the game and it will take a few races to do so. This is one of the best and funnest games I have ever played.
